Most cybersecurity advice is written for either Fortune 500 IT teams or people who already know what they're doing. If you're a business owner, a professional who handles sensitive client relationships, or an individual who knows their digital life is more exposed than it should be — there hasn't been much written for you.
That's the gap Super Simple Cyber was built to fill.
Our founder, Robin Thornton, spent a decade in cybersecurity at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center — one of the world's leading cancer hospitals and an institution that handles some of the most sensitive personal data in existence. Protecting patients, clinicians, and researchers in that environment isn't optional and it isn't theoretical. It's a daily obligation to people who trust you with information they'd never want exposed. That experience shapes everything about how we work: no unnecessary complexity, no jargon for its own sake, no security theatre. Just clear thinking, honest priorities, and practical action.
Robin holds the SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP) certification and is currently completing the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) qualification.
What We Believe
Security should be proportionate. Most individuals and small businesses don't need enterprise-grade everything — they need the right things, done properly, clearly explained. We focus on what actually reduces your real-world risk, not what looks impressive on a checklist.
